As of a few moments ago, there have been one million hits on the RPD blog since it began on March 25, 2008. 
I just wanted to take a quick minute and thank you guys – those who read and/or contribute to the blog – for allowing me to share my experiences with you. And I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences with me as well. It’s a lot more fun to write when there’s a two way communication between the person who posts material and those who have some reaction to it, whether superficial or visceral. I’ve gone from having a few dozen hits per day to averaging around 4,000 a day now, and I value each set of eyes that find their way to the Diaries.
I try to respond to most of the comments people make on RPD. This was something I learned from a woman who used to maintain a blog about her own sexual explorations. She’d reply to everyone who posted, no matter how inconsequential their comment was. I always thought that was nice to engage the people who take the time to post their thoughts, so I’ve tried to emulate her to a degree.
I’ll have more to say on this in the future, but I thought I’d take just a second to say thanks for your time. I’ll do my best keep you entertained for the next million hits.

No, no, thank you. I found your blog and tweets very interesting this last year. In fact, just the other day, I was telling a Toronto SP how interesting your tweets are for someone in their early 20s and she agreed. Of course, I sometimes suspect you don’t like men per se, but I could be imagining things.

I can see why you’d get that impression. I tend to focus on a lot of sexism-related issues from time to time, and I also have a personal preference of emotional and physical intimacy with women. I don’t “hate” men by any stretch of the imagination, but I do hate patriarchy and what it represents. I suspect that comes through in my writing occasionally.
Congratulations! I am a recent member of the crowd, but know I’ve added a few hundred hits to that total!
Sometimes as I read through your old (and new) posts I have to keep reminding myself that you are still very young…you express yourself in such a mature and intelligent manner. I wish when I was your age that I had met someone with even half of your wisdom when it comes to sexuality and its impact on our life and culture.

Yes, I noticed since you primarily tweet/retweet back and forth on Twitter mainly with women (and especially SPs) only, giving the impression you’re mainly snubbing male twitters. And of course, your rates are (some could say unfairly) half for women on your SP website. But these are small things and it’s hard to blame you since most of your male fans who follow you on twitter share your preference for women. I know I do.

You know, this has not been my experience at all. Alexa does not even Follow me on Twitter, but she tolerates my @AlexRPD messages and often acknowledges and responds to them. Seems to me there are a number of guys in there on a regular basis.
Same here. Alexa has been nothing but gracious. Perhaps you’re projecting something that’s in you, and has nothing to do with her?
Yes, she is very gracious and it’s likely I am projecting. I am sorry for my rash words, really. It’s not often I am an idiot, but this is one of them. :-(
