Today was a busy day for me. I had several odds and ends that I wanted to get accomplished. I got up early and went and fucked my morning client. Then I came home, took a shower, studied a bit, began working on a blog post about Belle de Jour – it should be done this weekend some time.
I headed off for my 10AM appointment at Glow in San Mateo. It’s the best place locally to get waxing done, IMO.
When I was done having my naughty bits defuzzed, I headed over to Hillsdale Mall to do some shopping. I picked up a few odds and ends, a new pair of pants I’d ordered a couple of weeks ago, and a Cinnabon for breakfast tomorrow morning.
I left the Mall, headed east on 31st.
I went to another local spa to get mani/pedi, and got my paws and toes looking all purty.

It was time for lunch so I went to Panera Bread to grab a bite to eat. As I left, I stopped to get some gas for the car, and had trouble getting out due to the back up at the In and Out. This is the second time I’ve been here, and the second time I’ve gotten caught up in this ridiculous shit. The line of cars you see here are waiting for the drive through, and the cars in the parking spaces on the other side of them can’t get out until someone lets them out. The line extended back into the driveway for the gas station, so we all had to wait for cars to inch forward. The word “cluster” seems to fit this particular scenario.
Then it was time to swing by Safeway to pick up a couple of items for dinner this weekend. Kelsey’s coming up to have dinner with me to celebtrate her birthday, and I am planning a special meal for her.
From there, I headed home. Ah, yes. The glamorous life.

I really liked this one, its a fun little reminder that you are just like anyone else most of the time, plus we got a photo of you
Yes, I am human, too.
Like Chaz I like this fun little piece a nice reminder that your human like the rest of us even if your sexual exploits occasional make me wonder if your aren’t the mythical unicorn taken escort form. Also, you have pretty feet…I’m sure you just made a bunch of foot fetishes day.
Although…I kind of wish you hadn’t mentioned Cinnabon as you have caused the perverted sex toy reviewer sphere to collide with the nutrition student sphere and all of the sudden I have a bizarre compulsion to do some math and calculate how many clients you would have to see to burn off that Cinnabon.
For those who are interested, namelesschaos apparently had a lot of time on his hands last night, and calculated how many gang bangs I’d need to do in order to burn these calories that I am consuming as I write this off: http://bit.ly/4glAI7
If you think that suggests I have to much time on my hands. Believe it or not my professors would actually be disappointed in me that I only gave 5 options to burn off that calorie filled goodness; they’ve trained me to give at least 10 individually tailored options for someone to chose from. So that post is actually an extremely half-ass job
And with that you now have some insight in to the mundane fabric of my days.
Fun fact: The In-n-Out up in Mill Valley has no drive-thru, because local folks were concerned about traffic backing up. It was (and may still be) the only In-n-Out without a drive-thru window.
Back on topic, any recommendations in the SF area for boys curious about getting their own naughty bits waxed?
I can understand why. I’ve never seen a restaurant drive through that backed up before. I wouldn’t even sit in a line that long for any restaurant. lol
Glow does men in addition to women, I believe. They’re in San Mateo, if you don’t mind driving a few minutes south of town. You can reach them at 650-458-9725.
Man, I think I just might have a heart attack if you walked into MY Panera for a nomable meal…
You own one?
Alas, that would be TOO awesome for words.
No, I’m the somewhat handsome guy behind the register, handing you your tasty meal, or offering to clear your tray and checking you out the whole time. And wishing he dared whisper things in your ear that would make you squirm in your seat. >;D
Hey, Alexa. I loved this post also because of the reminder that you live a life like most of us — except for the fucking the morning client bit. LOL
But also, as I have mentioned before, I used to live in San Mateo. The pictures were great — you were wandering around places where we used to shop, grab the train to SF, take our kids for walks, etc. It is very interesting to hear about you wandering around our old haunts — even more than your references to SF (where I worked) since gobs of young adults transition through the City. San Mateo just seems more local.
Glad you could enjoy a “normal” day. Love your work, as always.
Oh, yeah — careful about that Cinnabon. That stuff could kill you. lol!
except for the fucking the morning client bit
Wait, everyone doesn’t do that?
Oh, yeah — careful about that Cinnabon. That stuff could kill you.
Yeah, but what a way to go.
yea i agree you are pretty normal expect for the morning client.
i dont know of anybody that starts there day of with a morning client!
and p.s:i love the pics i think you should do that more often
I’ve had feet troubles from time to time. I’m not a doctor, but those look like healthy feet to me. (No, I don’t have a foot fetish.) The toes aren’t all squished together from tight shoes, and the skin is very good. I’m sure you kill in heels, but maybe you don’t wear them all the time…?
I’m sure you kill in heels, but maybe you don’t wear them all the time…?
I do wear heels the vast majority of the time, actually. Most of them are open-toed, though, and that might help. I danced for over three years, too, in stripper heels.
Please stop. You’re killing us (softly). ;)
I hear that the In and Out has a great burger. I am a cheeseburger fanatic, so I am just curious. Are there any in SF proper?
And yes, those are lovely feet.
Have a great day.
I don’t know if there are any in the city itself or not, actually. I’ve never eaten at one, so I’ve not been compelled to try to find one.
Anyone else know?
Apparently there’s one in Fisherman’s Wharf. Which means you’re better off going to San Mateo or Mill Valley.
333 Jefferson st, at Leavenworth.
I’ve had them in LA. They’re pretty good. I recommend Five Guys, if you can find one.
Cutie lil puppy toes!!
Hey Alexa:
As far as I know, there are no In And Out’s in the City. The closest one I can think of other than Millbrae (which is the one I go to…) is in Daly City off 280, take the Eastmoor exit and make a right as soon as you get off the highway. And please do give’em a try, they are some of the better burgers I’ve had in my time (with the exception of Nation’s who make some of the BEST in the Bay Area!!). And when you place your order, tell them to make it “animal style” which means instead of raw onions on your double-double cheeseburger, you’ll get caramelized onions instead, and tell them to also skip the “spread” (no, not that kind of SPREAD, silly… LMAO), it’s a sandwhich topping they use which resembles Thousand Island Dressing and it’s full of fat and calories (as if the food isn’t…) and the burgers are better off without it (as well I) as far as I’m concerned. YUM-YUM!! It makes all the diff on the burger, and their fries are “off-da-hook” as well. They cut whole potatoes right there at the restaurant (you won’t see that big, frozen bag of pre-cut fries there…) plus they fry in fat-free oil and they are sooooooooo delish! I feel your pain at the Millbrae locale though, that parking lot is the worst configured I’ve ever seen-and it’s not a “cluster” as you said but more like a “cluster-f*ck”! LOL My gym is just down Rollins Road from that plaza so I’m out there frequently but I try to avoid having too many In And Out’s even as good as they are. And if you’re wondering what that heavenly chocolate smell in the air around that area is, it comes from the place where they make See’s Candy-next door to my gym of all damn places!! LOL Smells like a big tray of brownies baking! And if I can make a suggestion, steer clear of the Hawaiian BBQ joint next door to Panera, they ain’t that good…
And just like Alan, I’m almost walking distance from Hillsdale and Glow in San Mateo, my advertising agency is very close by the mall and to the street where Glow is on and I have clients in that part of town. If you like bread bowls, then the next time you’re in Hillsdale, try the bread bowls at Boudin’s Bakery. They are a San Francisco institution and landmark and IMHO they make the BEST sourdough french bread around! They also have an outlet in the Stonestown Shopping Center by SF State on 19th Ave., and one place on Pier 39 and another at Fisherman’s Wharf. Their main bakery is on 10th Ave. and Geary St. in the City and again let me re-iterate that they are the original and best sourdough (not to mention all of their baked goods-cookies, criossants, breadsticks, etc…) in the Bay Area and perhaps the nation! And if you’re a pizza and pasta fan, try the “California Pizza Kitchen” in Hillsdale next time you’re there, some wickedly yummy munchies as well.
Well, it’s after noon and with all this food talk, I’m getting mighty hungry! LOL Think I’ll head out to Boudin’s speaking of bread bowls…so take care Alexa, and thanks for sharing a little bit of you with all of us! ;o)
God, I miss Boudin’s sourdough. Thanks for the reminder. ;)
I feel your pain at the Millbrae locale though, that parking lot is the worst configured I’ve ever seen-and it’s not a “cluster” as you said but more like a “cluster-f*ck”!
That would be an appropriate characterization, yes.
If you like bread bowls, then the next time you’re in Hillsdale, try the bread bowls at Boudin’s Bakery.
I’ll give them a shot next time I’m down there.
When do you workout?
I don’t very often. My apartment building has a workout center, but I only rarely get down there. :(
I loved that post! So simple, so… I don’t know.
Very relaxing, I had a crappy day and you took me out of it, thanks!
I’m glad I was able to serve you.
How nice of you. You say the same when you leave appointments? Now that’s pushing the professionalism to its perfection.
There’s an In’N'Out in the City, unfortunately though it’s in the Fisherman’s Wharf tourist section. I’m totally not a foot fetish guy, but I gotta say, you have pretty feet. Maybe you can convince me to adopt a fetish.
And I can’t resist…I think about every lawyer can always say that she fucked her morning client too.
I’m totally not a foot fetish guy, but I gotta say, you have pretty feet.
Thank you.
I don’t think I’ll be going out to the Wharf just for a burger. Maybe I’ll try the one in Millbrae during off hours at some point.
you do indeed have very nice feet. Hope you like them yourself, as that’s often not the case :)
G. goes insane about hers all the time. I can barely see a stretch or wrinkle but she obsess over it. Craziness.
i second third and fourth that NICE TOES sentiment.
mine are….Flinstonian.
*sigh*
thank god my supreme b.j. skills distract anyone from looking at my gnarly feet. hahahhaah.

I love this post. I love that we got treated to a rare glimpse of you. Very cute toes. Haven’t been to an In and Out Burger for maybe 15 years because of the lines. I would rather wait for a table at Zuni Cafe for a burger and a glass of Cabernet.
