Writer and overall cool person Julie Roads has created an interesting web site she calls The Daily Norm. She uses it to feature the mundane side of life for people of interest. Sounds…uninteresting, doesn’t it? It’s not, though. Rather than me trying to explain it, though, I’ll let her shed some light on it:
So, you’re wondering, what is an abnormally magnificent life? Well, it all comes down to this: the grass is always greener on the other side. Which, by the way, is not just an annoying cliche. It’s also a biological imperative.
You see, if we weren’t constantly looking at other people, comparing ourselves to them, coveting what they have and making up stories about what we think their lives are like, then what would we be reaching for? How would we propagate the species, advance technology, medicine, music, art and the Fortune 500 list?
The interviews on this site are me fulfilling insatiable curiosities. I’m asking the questions that let the rest of us find out if the grass really is greener. What is it like to be abnormally magnificent? What’s their daily norm? And once I know, will it help me? Will it help you?
Julie decided I was worthy of an interview on her new web site, and I was happy to oblige. You can find it HERE.
You can find Julie on Twitter as well, btw.
As for Lady Gaga…
A few days ago, I made a post inviting anyone who wanted to take me to see the Lady Gaga concert in San Francisco to make a bid for an evening with me. The original concert was scheduled for December 13th, but they’ve now added a second concert for the 14th as well.
So, if that date works better for you, it works for me. I know I had one offer from a guy who couldn’t do it on the 13th – maybe this fits his schedule.
I am available either day, and am still accepting offers through this weekend. As of right now, the high bid is $5,800.00 (assuming he clears screening). If you wish to outbid him, feel free to do so using my regular e-mail address or the contact form above. The specifics are on the original post for those interested.

Great interview! I know that you say that your day seems boring, but there it is such an interesting life that you lead (not everyone is able to go to class and then get “dolled up” to meet a client like that) that I think it makes average people like me really curious.
Very nice interview ~ your honesty and perspective continue to
amaze me .
Best wishes for your studies and continued happiness.

Your answer to the second to the last question is the thing I love most about you. It’s why I want you at Thanksgiving dinner, and the only reason I can think of that I’d be in favor of cloning: more hot smart wicked wenches mouthing off about sex all over the place. Fuck tha J-C patriarchy. You go.
Splendid interview. If i was one of the ignorant ones this would have been very enlightening. Luckily in early adulthood some of my best friends were sexworkers so i know how “normal’ they are. Keep bumping!
