Today is my birthday. I turn 23. I’ll be getting gray hairs before you know it. 
This birthday is the first in seven years that Nikki isn’t sharing it with me, and while I have a great group of e-friends who’ve wished me happy birthday and whatnot, I’d still give almost anything to be with her today. 
This is one of my favorite songs, and it is so appropriate for how I feel today.
