The Lazy Geisha is a bit under the Weather.

July 24, 2008

Many of you know I am good friends with Nina, the Lazy Geisha.

A couple of nights ago, she sent me a one line e-mail telling me her husband, Jeff, was taking her to the emergency room.  I hadn’t heard from her since, and I was *really* starting to get worried.

This afternoon I got an e-mail from Jeff telling me that she’d suffered a bout with appendicitis and had to have her appendix removed.

Anyway, keep her in your thoughts, and let’s all wish her a speedy recovery.

EDIT (Sunday, 7/27/08):  I just spoke with Nina, and she’s at home now, resting.  The meds are making her drowsy, but she did survive and will be posting about it sometime in the next few days.
